Esta muestra utiliza el dibujo como herramienta principal y eje de 6 líneas de pensamientos diversas por sus trasfondos socioculturales. El dibujo es planteado como el esqueleto de los contenedores de una sociedad que ha olvidado caminar bajo el sol. Este esqueleto que queda temporeramente expuesto por el reuso y en muchas ocasiones permanente expuesto por el abandono es causante de que selectivamente o inconscientemente los integrantes de una sociedad opten por el ver en lugar del observar. Permitiendo que decaigan las arterias que conectan un punto de partida con uno de llegada y su convivencia con la natura y que se abandonara a la suerte los reflejos culturales existentes en el desarrollo urbano que heredamos. Sumamos a esto el desarrollo descuidado de una arquitectura que no nos pertenece al no ser la adecuada por un clima muy específico y otros factores. Nosotros quienes al mismo tiempo dejamos de considerar la apariencia, sustituyéndola por la más baja cotización, lo cual usualmente implica una apariencia poco armónica y desencajada de la musicalidad que debe existir entre la arquitectura y su vestimenta, idolatramos una publicidad ineficaz que disfraza de pantalla gigante un muestrario de esfuerzos y comentarios sobre funcionalidad, estética y cultura.
Coyuntura es el enlace donde se encuentran los comentarios de 6 artistas que disertan, desde sus más diversas perspectivas, el entorno común. Esto con la intención de recuperar la discusión pública sobre los espacios consistentemente utilizados por todos a nivel individual como colectivo. Esta es una muestra sin inaccesibles y enredadas pretensiones filosóficas que juega con las posibilidades de planteamientos reales, útiles y permisibles, que seguramente serán base de resoluciones urbanas a corto y a largo plazo. Estos artistas nos hablan en sus propios lenguajes y abren una ventana a espacios interiores y exteriores que estén a la corriente del progreso y las necesidades de unas sociedades siempre cambiantes.

COYUNTURA (Juncture)
This exhibition uses drawing as main tool for six different artistic minds that come from very different sociological backgrounds. The drawing is presented as the backbone of the containers of a society that has forgotten to walk in the sun. This skeleton is left temporarily exposed for reuse and often exposed by permanent abandonment. This is causing that selectively or unconsciously members of a society choose to see instead of observing, allowing the decay of the city arteries that connect the departure point with the arrival point and their coexistence with nature. And is left to chance the existing cultural reflections on urban development we have inherited. Add this to the neglected development of an architecture that is not ours and is not adequate for our very specific climate and other factors. We who at the same time stop considering the appearance, substituting for the lowest construction price which usually results in loss of harmony in the musicality that should exist between architecture and its clothing, idolize ineffective advertising that disguises as a big screen reflecting a big mistake and hiding the efforts and comments on functionality, aesthetics and culture.
COYUNTURA (Juncture) is where the comments from these six artists (in their diverse perspectives) come together as graphic essays on the common environment. This is intended to restore public discussion about areas consistently used by all, individually and collectively. This should be an exhibition with no tangled philosophical pretensions and will be a playground for real possibilities of development and architecture and art as a whole. All this approaches will join, likely to be proposals for decisions in short and long term, regarding our environment. These artists speak in their own pictorial languages and open a window towards the interior or exterior of current progress and the needs of an ever-changing society.
